SMD3528 DUAL WHITE 2 IN 1 LED STRIP SERIES

Description

The colour temperature of the light from the Tunnel retractable strip light can be adjusted between 1800K and 6500K. The adhesive surface of the strip is pre-applied, so it adheres firmly to smooth and flat surfaces such as aluminium. The strip has a colour rendering index of over 90 which means that colours are reproduced well (colours are best reproduced in 4000K white light).

This led strip operates on 24V voltage, and is dimmable by selecting the appropriate dimming products. To make the colour control work, for example,  (RGB/CCT) controllers and (RGB/CCT)receiver . For smart homes, for example, a Zigbee driver and controllers are selected.

Product information

Our mood strip is 14.4W/m (1000 lumens per metre) and has 60 LED circuits per metre. This makes the light uniform enough for indirect lighting, for example. When mounted on an aluminium profile, the spotlight is only noticeable when viewed directly from the front. When indirectly illuminated through a wall, the light is uniform. The CRI of the strip is over 90, which is excellent and suitable for home lighting.

Installation

The LED strip comes in a 5m roll and can be cut to size in increments of 10cm. The strip has clear markings to make cutting easy. We recommend soldering the strips together as we have found that the quick-release fasteners loosen over time and loosening causes the lights to flash. Our Led strip is easy to attach with the 3M high grip tape that comes with it.

We recommend that one driver is not used to feed a 24V strip over 10m, to avoid light degradation at the other end of the strip. So if you need more than 10m of strip, we recommend that you feed the strip from the middle, for example. The led strip should always be attached to an aluminium strip, so that excess heat is conducted away from the led circuit. This will prolong the life of the led strip. The CCT led strip is connected to the control unit, and the control unit is connected to a power supply which is connected to the mains. For smart homes, a Zigbee driver and controllers are selected.

The LED strip works well with solar power, boats and cars if they use 24VDC. Then a separate power supply is not needed. In other cases, order a 24V power supply of suitable power for the strip. The power supply does not need to be dimmable, as dimming takes place between the strip and the control unit, after the driver.

Dimming

To dim the LED strip, you can use the wired&wireless dimmer. The strips can also be controlled by DALI systems. Wireless dimming is perfect for applications where there is no wall switch for the light, but the light is powered by a constant current.

In the case of a smart home, a Zigbee driver and controllers for wireless control are chosen. In Zigbee drivers, the receiver is already built-in.

With the RF/2.4G wireless solution, you simply install the receiver between the LED strip and the power supply. You can then control the strip with wireless switches from wherever you want. The wireless switch is powered by batteries, which are easily replaceable. You can also mount the switch on the wall if you wish, but it does not need a separate power supply.
